Beauty Skin Necessities after Bariatric Surgery every patient should consider during recovery

Updated: Feb 1, 2020

I often get asked what are the be the best items for myself or significant others after weight-loss surgery? I can honestly say that I didn’t want to get any protein packets or Bariatric supplements from anyone.

My recommendations are things that I truly feel people would enjoy. These are all hand-picked items because I put a lot of thought into what would be most meaningful, beneficial and useful.

Skin and Body Tools For patients right after Surgery

**Imagine being in bed with dry bothersome skin, think things she could use while resting for recovery like Hand Cream, body lotion, lip balm and self-care items

1. Everybody Mint Lotion

Why: Our skin is dry after surgery and we need replenishment. This is by far one of my daily go to's.

2. Alba Body Cream

Why: Our Skin is so Dry Post-op, this is so moisturizing and has more of a creamy texture.

3. The Honest Company Essentials Sample Collection

Why: Our Skin is so dry post op and this set includes The Honest Company hand soap, face + body lotion, healing balm, shampoo + body wash

4. Burt's Bees Lip Balm Set

I'm always updating and looking for the best products for you as if it were me looking when I was in my beginning stages. I had no idea what I was getting myself into and it's nice to have someone who can share tips and resources.

A video will be coming very shortly with my review of all these products mentioned above. Till then! XOXOXO!
